As a non-profit organization, the Black Fashion Coalition (BFCo) was created to link more black fashionistas with industry resources. We raise money for black people in the fashion industry. As most black designers are Haute Couture designers, the goal of BFCo is to bring more black designers into the ready-to-wear market. This will allow the designers to offer retail and wholesale merchandise worldwide. In 2018, the Black Fashion Coalition (BFCo) launched an initiative for the advancement of black fashion. The fashion industry partners with so many other industries to meet their goals, from science to politics - playing a huge role in the way the economy revolves. Therefore, people of color should be able to have lasting careers in the fashion industry. We focus on technology, manufacturing, branding, retail, and sales. See our Manifesto for more details.
